Why Architecture or Quantity Surveying ?

It has been sometime eh...sori...really got entangled with assignments...no excuses anyway...

So, here is maybe something we all could relate ? Why Architecture or Quantity Surveying ?

Even at this stage, i still come to wonder why ? Why did i take architecture for my case...Even when we design, the question WHY keeps appearing...

I never had the interest i though i should have when i came in architecture...i never had the PASSION which my lecturers and seniors' were talking about...i never enjoyed architecture it seems...the only fun moments at that time were mostly concerning sleeping over at friends place and having midnight chats on our past histories...

For a person who had just left high-school and immediately picking out A COURSE which would be the job of his life is surely a difficult moment as i had to think it over constantly whether is it the RIGHT choice...would A-Levels or SAM be a better decision ? Should i then just leave before it is too late ? I went along instead, and a year had then passed...

When it was time to choose again, being the lazy kid, i decided to give it another try in SEM 3, and i would say, it was the most toughest transition (with studio and all)...i almost thought i should have just given up and moved on...i really almost left after SEM 3...but i decided to stay again...maybe it was the results which kept me here for so long...(maybe it was the camp Olympiarch)

Until Sem 4, i still wasn't sure of what to do...i went to work in the holidays in a firm and still had no idea of what to do...it then became even clearer at that time architecture wasn't the choice for me...(but i still like designing though)...i knew that for sure...

When i was in Sem 5, it still felt like a routine...only designing was fun...3d was fun, but heart wrenching when things doesn't go your way...It was only then during the holidays, when my friends and i participated in competitions and camps where things started to get interesting...maybe it was because at that time there was really no pressure to do well, or to get good grades or maybe it was just because you could do whatever you like at that time...i think...

Now, it is already Sem 6 and designing is still fun...i am just scared maybe i might grow to hate it one day...

So, Why Architecture ? "i really still dunno...design i guess..."

I went through the whole "to stay or not to stay" period,
which eventually I did leave AT for QS, yet now I start to have doubt.

but it's too late to switch back already.
