Archidex 2007 - Datum

Hullo again! Last weekend was Archidex 07 held at KL Convention Centre, so if you guys didnt catch the exhibitions and datum, you guys missed out big time!

Ok I missed out on the exhibitions BUT with good reason, but all I'm saying is, if you love your architecture, if you're passionate about it, you should've gone. It's an eye opener and it starts the brain-engines running. Well I heard the exhibition was really good, we had Jun Hao and uh.. was it Keongs models that were exhibited? Anyway, there's one more coming up in One Utama this Tuesday (opening ceremony at 3pm) SO BE THERE! ..or be square yeah yeah yeah I just had to add that lah..

The talks that day, from 2pm were by a Korean, China-man, and a Mexican (personally my favourite cos he's cute and used to be a rockstar) who all had very very impressive and inspiring works; stuff they design for competitions, for big clients, etc. Ranging from 800m skyscrapers to high rise homes, to chocolate factories, these architects made it big at a young age. They're all if I'm not wrong, in their 30's ? (So yeah they're all still pretty hot ;) )

During the panel during the discussion session. Btw, hot Mexican is at the right most corner.

Datum ended at 6.30pm and the guys who attended camp made a Myvi convoy led by a Satria GTI to the Sime Darby Convention Centre at Mont Kiara which was pretty damn gorgeous! It's huge and there were 2 other weddings held at the same time when we arrived. 07/07/07 mah, quite expected :p
Ms Shereen being hyperactive couldn't keep on a single lane, which left us, following behind, pretty confused and blindly following.
And also a WAJA which we all overtook (hehee), got pretty mad & finally led by anger, decided to stop hogging the fast lane and cut us all at one go. As if he just discovered that his car could go faster than 70km/hour or something. pffft.

We had dinner, Mr. Tony's treat at the Halia Restaurant which served BBQ dishes. Some feedback from those who attended the dinner, please? Haha, Mr Cheah, Ms. V, Pn Nor and Ms Shereen Chili Padi joined in the dinner, happily stuffing themselves with food served buffet style.

The many different sauces they served us. I think they're trying to bluff us lah, all look the same also! >(

The lecturers

Some of us who went (Try spotting Bird-bird's girlfriend!)

Btw, I still think Bird-bird's girlfriend is wayyyy too hot for him. Teeehee. OK I kid much.

the korean, china-man and mexican are Cho Min Suk, Ma Yan Song, and Michel Rojkind

I still think Ma Yan Song is the best.
Ma Yan Song all the way!
I BLOODY love his dry sense of humour.
