July 2007, Sophia and I have sweared to god or what-so-ever-thing that we're going to participate in the next intake's orientation!

January 2008, Speaking of New Year! New Intakes too! Can't wait to fulfill the promises I've made and I did!

Rumors has spread. Pamelyn informed me that this intake, they're heading towards Morib. It's Morib!! Ours? Well, Central Market? O.O But yeah, it was acceptable.

Morib! Not many people knows about it's existence and location for some of them. Morib is located at Klang, next to Banting. Was a tourist attraction in Selangor YEARS back! I mean it!

It was early and was forced to wake up at 6 in the morning. The gather time is allocated at 7.30 am. I was delaying and ended up rushing to leave the house at 7! Conclusion, I arrived college at 7.30a.m. Well, the traffic was smooth(looking for excuses to cover up the fact that I erm.....)

Unfortunately, we didn't leave at the exact time. Lecturers was expecting much/many juniors to be late. We left at 8.30 eventually. All of us were separated into 3 buses.

This is the condition in our bus. Peace and quiet! The whole journey to Morib took about 1 hour to arrive. Upon arrival, Lih Jiunn and Amanda from the 3rd bus was telling us about the excitement! They actually had ice breaking throughout the whole journey??!?

We walked to the beach side from the car park lot and immediately Shahira(The Game master) started her games which she already planned for the day.

While we including the seniors (Yew Keong, Lih Lih, Felicia, Jufri, Hui Xian and Amanda) help Ms. Shereen on deviding the tools for the Sandcastle Building event

Everyone was devided into 8 groups. According to animal sounds. In order to find their team members, they have to imitate the animal sound. Frog, Chicken, Donkey, Sheep, Horse, Monkey, Duck, Cat and Dog.

We? We just sit there 'sembang sembang' and sort of 'pergi main jauh jauh'. There you see is Ms. Shereen.

There! The graduates (still come 'sampat' like me), Amanda, Yew Keong, Jufri, Hui Xian and Lih Lih!! While Vidhya giving warnings about Saving the Shades! "Anything happens to me! SAVE THE SHADES!! NOT ME!!"

Haha it's commenting time! Actually, I wouldn't want to do so. In future they might bump into my blog and I'm doomed! This group gave a very good answer and in fact they really made us laughed similarly to 'Zha Dou'. You wanna know? It's a pail that has everything in it. Really 'Zhao Dou'.

After the presentation, all of them are told to gather and listen to commands for the next activity. Meanwhile Yew Keong and Amanda was preparing/presenting their 'tomb' for Lih Lih.

Ended up Lih Lih was jealous and stepped on it while Yew Keong making noises.

One of the rules and regulation. The sandcastle are to be set within 1m by 1m boundary. No Exceeding the boundary.

This group was so 'pro' till sketch something up in a book! I've tried to capture what they drew but was too late. They found out my attendance!

As usual, me and the senior gang. We teamed up and decide to build something for fun. Yew Keong was like Concept! Amanda! Jufri! Boundary! QS!....etc All of us started to dig, while Jufri sets the boundary. Suddenly Felicia was like 'Why build up and not down ah?' Keong started to think yeah why not!

Then we started digging!

Lih Jiunn said :"u should ask me to take a pic of ur butt when u r digging ma, can c ur sexy underwear edi loh"

I see water! I see water! Question! Should we continue or stop? Keong said continue digging. I continue till a stage where all of them yelling to stop!

Lih Lih was busy doing her landscape. Suddenly Keong yelled "Haiya! You go find your trees la!"(She did most of the Christmas train trees, very impressive trees)

She decided to make stairs instead. Most were making noises about her making the stairs is a waste of time. Me? I'm doing the landscape.

While constructing, we started to name the thing.

I've noticed that area

I've tried to snap a close up on the birds but they're very alert. As I step a little closer, they started flying! HEY! I MEAN NO HARM BIRDIE!! COME BACK!!(yelling to the birds...as if)

Yeap...we're doing it differently this year...no more elections...where the junior just 'main hentam' and nominate an unsuspecting senior they know...or even the lack of knowledge of any seniors to nominate.....So, we're looking for ppl who really wants to be in the SABD Committee 2008.....

Going Overseas Preparation: learn-to-cook lesson

One fine day, when birds chirping joyfully, my mum dragged me into the kitchen.
My first time cooking a real dish.

1st attempt:
(not counting maggi mee & egg & ham & sausages)

food: hong kong kai lan, vegetarian dish
vegetarian means no garlic, no egg, no meat

When frying the vege....
pour oil, then ginger.
prik!prik!prak!prak!
O.O "omg!"
freaked out for awhile but~!
then the oil finally became peaceful..(luckily~or I'll die)
"mummy, the ginger is brown already..."(peaceful tone)
"put the vege batang already LAH!"(mummy in loud voice)

"mummy,batang yellowish already, can ka?"(peaceful tone again)
"PUT THE LEAVES LAH!!WAIT WHAT??!"(mummy even in a devastated tone)

Train Project Episode 1

It was just right after the CNY holidays where lih jiunn started pressuring all of us whether or not we should join the Hilton Train Project competition. At that time, my group had submission, and since we so stress that time, jufri and his SMART thinking agreed to help out, so we all also have to agree lor, and then thats where it all started. As ignorant and naïve kids we were, we all were in for a treat, and that is where all the secrets, betrayal, and friendship began…”yar right !”

So, we then broke ourselves into sections or teams (graphics, autocad, modelling, and design/concept) and started gathering people…We got a great response in the beginning, but started to diminish as the days went by…

The first stage was the conceptualizing team and the autocad team which were headed by lih jiunn and adam/alex. After all the numerous planning and organization, they came out with an idea of having a Christmas in 4 different seasons…tropical, bohemian, dessert, and winter.

Then, after the design has been done, we had not heard from some of the design team anymore, maybe it was for the better…more freedom for the modeling and graphic team then, which was leaded by me and felicia/hui xian.

When we had the meeting to discuss on the outcome of the overall idea scheme, lih jiunn actually misinterpreted the whole entire competition requirements as she said that there will be a platform which lifts the entire train model. So I asked then, what did they put over these platforms…she then answered, they usually stick pictures and all so I then misinterpreted it in my own terms and thought that why not make the platform more interesting and lively rather than having pictures…so I then sketched the idea out, and we then came out with an underground theme which was an inspiration from Lord of the Rings…we wanted to have gold mines and dragons…The underground team then consist of khai ling, audy, and thomas.

Initially, the previous years actually place the model above the timber platform and places green tapestries around it…lih jiunn totally told me something so different, and I totally exaggerated it even more…and so, that is how we got a twin deck…it was all a misconception as we thought it was compulsory to have two floors actually…haiz…it was not even our idea…and we won because of it, HOHOHO !

The beginning stages of the modelling was a bit tidious as we weren't really sure how to do a real n detailed train model. So we just played around, we build the landscape like architecture students using cardboard. The others were mostly doing the christmas decor, trees, and the tropical house which was leaded by Celdric. Then, it was adam and jufri who really helped out a lot by staying overnight to clay the model despite the fact that adam was fetching yin ling and lih jiunn around the whole day shopping for small miniatures for the model. Thanks Man !

Then we waited for the thing to dry, and we started to worry even more as the model started to curve and crack, but we just went on. It was the help of adora, mak, and andrew later on in the painting. We got some help during the process of drawing and detailing the model later on from the semester one, but later on never see them already...anyway, we then just did it ourselves.

Just two days before the submission, i was a Sunday i remembered, we then finished the entire thing like around 11 and we were the first to see the lights on at night for the twin deck train model, it was amazing. Lighting was done by thomas and alex. It was superb...then we makan later at around 11 something...so late d...

It is then competition week, but i shall not elaborate about it as my friend has talked about it before, so tune in next time fore the next episode where we really had to work hard to win this competition, and that is where we started to really despise one another and also at the same time get used to one another...finally, i posted something !
